See ya later alligator

Today I drove Maren down south to go to attend the first day of a week long art camp at Jolene’s school. Maren was very excited. We spent some time with some good friends the Hoggan Family. Cade, and Brady (kaili’s husband to be, we wish) were nice to share their toys and play with Kaili. She loved hanging with the boys. Maren had some pretty cool stuff to bring home. I really loved her wire necklace. She thought the class was short! The class consists mostly of girls around her same age and she was playing hang man with a few new friends when I arrived to pick her up. I was very happy she enjoyed herself and it was worth the effort to get her there. She is also super excited to be spending the next few days sleeping over at Grandma Jo’s while she attends the art camp. When we got home today she could not wait to pack her bags and head down with Grandma for her mini vacation from the rest of us! She did a pretty good job packing but I decided to double check her bags. Really the only thing missing was some underwear and I had her leave the polly pockets. I know she will be taken care of but this is her first time away on her own for this many days. I know I will enjoy 1 kid less from the mix but I will miss her.
we had a tough time getting Brady to look at the camera!
bags packed and she wouldn’t let me help her carry anything!
bye bye
couldn’t resist the whomp shot! working away as usual. He likes the hands free drink.

First trip away from home is a big deal. Kayley’s boys are the best at sharing their toys. London was in love with both Cade and Brady…I have to remember to post those pictures. I want to see that baby!

Tarah you got a great picture of Marc’s head in the sand! Your life must always be hilarious with that guy around! You have been busy lately and you’ll have to tell me more about the chore charts for the summer! I want to get my girls doing some work around the house this summer. We’ll have to go to the water park when we get back from Utah.
