Vaughn seemed to be doing well and acting his normal happy little self so we kept plans to meet up with some friends at the beach in Huntington.  We had a great time seeing friends we don’t get to see that often.  The girls especially had a blast despite the windy cold beach day it turned out to be!  Maren spent almost the entire time catching waves with Alex, Hannah and Carlin.  You would think she’d get cold.   The girls would take breaks and set up a “girls club” area with their towels spread distant from the adults.  They are such wanna be teenagers!  I am not looking forward to the outraging hormone years YIKES!  My little Maren is so strong willed and already talks about boyfriends….. um actually to be more correct she started in preschool and had a year long crush on little Cameron who she told me they were going to get married when they grow up (he would tell his parents the same).   Scary!  Kaili, our more innocent child, seems to go with the flow.  She definitely gets very emotional but I would much rather deal with an emotional teenager than boy crazed one who wants to grow up way too fast!  I know I am getting ahead of myself here.
